Gathering my friends Intelligence once again....

Okay, so I teach this Sunday, and the lesson is on "The Millennium"

here are some of the topics to cover:
*Who will be on the earth during the Millennium?
*What will be done during the Millennium?
*Satan will be bound - (what does that mean)
*There will be peace on Earth
*There will be a righteous Government (how)
*There will be no disease or death
*All things will be revealed
*What is the final struggle after the Millennium? What will happen?

Any talks, thoughts, advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much for you help last time guys, it helps to get other peoples perspectives and thoughts on these topics!

Ah, how the years change us....

I was looking through some old family photos, and I came across this little gem. This is a brand new Lacey being held by her beautiful Great Grandma Palmer. (who passed away not long after this picture). I was born at a whopping 9 lbs. 4 oz. (why was I shocked that both of my kids were huge??)!! What made me stop and look at this picture, is I totally thought it was a picture of Aspen being held by my Grandma Roxie (who happens to be Great Grandma Palmer's daughter). Grandma looked SO much like her mom, and Aspen looked so much like me a birth, it wasn't until I saw the date at the top that I realized...holy poop...it's me! :) So funny!

Muppets Christmas Carol

Anyone that knows me...knows I LOVE the Muppets! And my all-time favorite movie of theirs??? Muppets Christmas Carol...the music of this show truly opens the Christmas season for me. I've loved this show since it came out. Without fail..it makes me cry every time I watch it. It's silly, they are puppets, Bob Crachet is a frog, and Charles Dickens is a "whatever" (Gonzo)....yet the music in that show speaks to the child in my heart and I just sing along the whole show. My Mom decied on Sunday to use this very song in a Relief Society lesson she is giving, it also happens to be one of my favorites from the show...I thought I would share it's special message with many of the people I am THANKFUL for in my life!!!

 With a Thankful Heart

With a thankful heart, with an endless joy
With a growing family, every girl and boy
Will be nephew and niece to me (Nephew and niece to me)
Will bring love, hope and peace to me (Love, hope and peace to me)
Yes and every night will end, and every day will start
With a greatful prayer and a thankful heart

With an open smile and with open doors
I will bid you welcome, what is mine is yours
With a glass raised to toast your health (With a glass raised to toast your health)
And a promise to share the wealth (Promise to share the wealth)
I will sail a friendly course, file a friendly chart
On A sea of love and a thankful heart

Life is like a jouney, who knows when it ends?
Yes and if you need to know the measure of a man
You simply count his friends
Stop and look around you, the glory that you see
Is born again each day, don't let is slip away
How precious life can be

With a thankful heart that is wide awake
I do make this promise, every breath I take
Will be used now to sing your praise (Used now to sing your praise)
And to beg you to share my days (Beg you to share my days)
With a loving guarantee that even if we part
I will hold you close in a thankful heart

I will hold you close in a thankful heart

My Mountain man husband!

Chad recently got his trapping permit, and has been out and about setting his traps ever since. For a few weeks now, he's been disappointed as each time he checked his traps--- nothing. This morning, after I was done with my run, I got in my car to drive home and checked my phone....and lo-and-behold... I had a message from Chad. This is what I saw! Chad had trapped a beautiful fox.  He's a real beauty, soft, and totally worth the wait. Chad will be taking care of it (skinning and all that gross stuff) later today. But I am just happy he got one!

Marshall Thanksgiving~

Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest...they were taken with my phone ;). My family, the past few years (due it's growing numbers) has moved Thanksgiving dinner downstairs to the great room (a.k.a the apartment). The kids love it, because they are right by the play room. The adults love it...well...because we get to hang out and eat and talk. hehehe. It was a really good meal, my dad had the turkey deep fried this year...it was SCRUMPTIOUS! Seriously...divine!  Soji made a yam dish, Keysha did heavenly mash potatoes, I did the relish plate (got to have those veggies...if you know me...you know thats my favorite part anyways), Tasha made pies, there were rolls (so good), and loads of good talks. It was a really enjoyable day for me. After we ate with my family, we drove out to Rush Valley and had Thanksgiving with Chad's family. Actually turned out really nice! We played "phase 10" and like usual..I whooped on everyone. Got to love that!!! Over-all, it was a fabulous day of Thanks!! I love my wonderful families!

My Lesson on Sunday

I teach Gospel essentials in my ward...and have a quick question for everyone on here who happens to be LDS, or just has a (intelligent and insightful) opinion about this topic.....

"The Gathering of The House of Isreal"

- The House of Israel Are God's Covenant people (thoughts on this)
-The House of Israel Was Scattered (thoughts, stories, on this)
-The House of Israel Must be Gathered (etc..)
- How will the House of Israel be gathered?? (explain, scriptures, stories...)

If you've got past lessons, talks, scriptures, whatever that could help me..I would appreciate it. This isn't a topic I am super strong in, and would appreciate all the help I can get here.
I teach it on Sunday....Thanks everyone
